Terms of Use
These terms cover this website and taking part in Flandrien CC rides and events. By using the site or riding with us, you agree to them. Last updated August 2026.
1. The club
Flandrien CC is an informal, volunteer-run group of cyclists. It is not an incorporated organization, a business, or a certified coaching or touring operation. Rides are free, social, and self-organized.
2. Ride participation
All rides are ridden at your own risk. Participation requires that you accept our Waiver & Assumption of Risk and follow the ride charter, including wearing a helmet, obeying traffic laws, and riding a safe bicycle within your own limits. Rides are not “no-drop.” Organizers may change, shorten, or cancel a ride at any time — including for weather, road, or safety reasons — without notice.
3. Conduct
Ride predictably and courteously and treat other riders, drivers, and the public with respect. We’re snobs about bikes, never about people. Organizers may ask anyone to leave a ride or the club for unsafe riding or poor conduct, at their discretion.
4. Website
This website is provided “as is,” for general information about the club. We try to keep ride times, routes, and details accurate but do not guarantee they are current or error-free — always confirm the week’s plan on our Strava club. Routes shown here and on RideWithGPS are suggestions only; you are responsible for your own navigation and for the safety of any road you ride.
5. Third-party services
We link to and rely on third-party services such as Strava, RideWithGPS, and Instagram. We don’t control those services and aren’t responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
6. Intellectual property
The Flandrien CC name and the content of this site belong to the club and its founders. Please don’t reproduce them to imply affiliation or endorsement without permission.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flandrien CC and its founders and organizers are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of this website or participation in any ride or event. Your participation is entirely voluntary and at your own risk.
8. Governing law & changes
